About Casa San Pancho

Casa San Pancho Hotel is a beautiful 10-room, converted home, located 1 block from San Pancho’s main street and 5 blocks from the beach. A seamless fusion of authentic Mexican architecture and Southeast-Asian decor, enhance the feel of the home. The main entryway is guarded by a century-old door, brought from the “Altos de Jalisco”, where guests gain access to the foyer and the rest of the house. The house is built with 'sillar', a material made from naturally sedimented clay that is extracted from mines in the state of Queretaro, it's very similar to adobe but the bricks are bigger, and its qualities are better, it's beautiful orange color adds a special touch to the look of the house.

Special attention was given to integrating the house into the surrounding environment and landscape as well as to receiving natural light. Built in an east-west orientation, the house facilitates natural ventilation all year long, as it welcomes the cool breeze from the sea during the day and from the mountains during the night. Large windows and terraces provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape while maintaining an essence of privacy as the house is secluded from the sight of neighboring houses.
